Two Rivers Software Training is committed to protecting your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, communicate and make use of personal information and your options regarding the ways in which your personal data is used.

When accessing our website we will learn certain information about you during your visit.

Similar to other commercial websites, our website uses a standard technology called “cookies” (see explanation below, “What Are Cookies?”) and web server logs to collect information about how our website is used. What information do we hold about you?

We only collect personal information where it is expressly given by you.

We do not obtain any personal information about you when you simply visit our site.

However, in order to access certain services or contact us you may be required to provide personal contact information. This information includes but is not limited to name, email address, phone number and mobile number.

    You may request that we remove your details from our systems completely.

    How do we use your personal information?

    We use personal information for purposes of administering our business activities, providing customer service and making available other items and services to our customers and prospective customers.

    Two Rivers Software Training:

  • only collects sufficient personal information to be able fulfil the request.

  • may contact you for administrative or operational reasons relating to our services.

How Do We Protect Your Personal Information?

We ask that you do not send private information to us by email, as can be very insecure. Doing so will be at your own risk.

Our entire site is protected by a Secure Sockets layer (SSL). This means that information is encrypted and transmitted securely.

Credit Card information is never transmitted via email. In fact we do not store any financial information on our site, such as credit card numbers and related identification information. All financial transactions are administered using a reputable, reliable and secure third party payment processor.

For site security purposes we use software tools to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorised attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are used by many websites to help track visitors and improve your visitor experience. They do not enable websites to capture any personal information.

A cookie is a very small text document, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier. We use Google's free conversion tracking tool to monitor visitor traffic patterns and site usage. This helps us develop the design and layout of our web sites.

We use Google Analytics to display relevant ads tailored to you based on what parts of this website you have viewed.

It does this by placing a cookie on your machine. This cookie cannot access your personal information. It simply says: “You visited this page, so I might show you a relevant ad that is related to the page you visited.”

Google's remarketing allows us to tailor our marketing to better suit your needs and only display ads that are relevant to you.

Remarketing ads will show on third-party websites, including Google itself. These third-party websites will use cookies to select appropriate ads.

IP Addresses

IP addresses are used by your computer every time you are connected to the Internet. Your IP address is a number that is used by computers on the network to identify your computer. IP addresses are automatically collected by our web server so that you can view the pages on our website.

If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. We provide the same protections for these electronic communications that we employ in the maintenance of information received online, mail and telephone.

CAN-SPAM Compliance

In compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, all e-mail sent from us will clearly state who the e-mail is from and provide clear information on how to contact the sender.

In addition, all e-mail messages will also contain concise information on how to remove yourself from our mailing list so that you receive no further e-mail communication from us.

Choice/Opt-Out

We will only send you information that you have specifically requested and agreed to receive or where the content is relevant to your original request. At any time you can change which communications you receive from us. Alternatively you may opt out entirely from all communications from us by clicking the unsubscribe link included on every promotional email we send.

Bookings

If you are booking a place on one of our courses, seminars, webinars or workshops we will request personal details from you. These details may include, but are not restricted to, your name, address, phone number, e-mail address and possibly your credit/debit card or other payment method details.

Online Payments

For paid services, Two Rivers Software Training uses a reputable, reliable and secure payment gateway to collect online payments. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

Any refunds will be returned using the same process as the payment wherever possible.

Confidential Information Obtained During a Consultation

Where Two Rivers Software Training carries out a consultation with you and confidential data is disclosed, Two Rivers Software Training will ask you to take measures to encrypt the data prior to the consultation, e.g. switching or changing names and addresses in a list. On completion of the consultation, Two Rivers Software Training will completely remove your confidential information from its computers and will not disclose or share any acquired information with a third party unless authorised by the client to do so.

Links To Other Sites

Where we include a link to an external site not associated with our company, we do this solely for the convenience of our site visitors. We will not be deemed responsible for the contents and views expressed on other sites or for any damages resulting from visiting them. If you access other sites using the links provided, the operators of these sites may collect information from you. They may use this information in accordance with their privacy policy, which may differ from ours.
